Zoey Rayann May Martin, 16, of Nixa, MO, was called Home by Jesus June 27, 2019. She was born December 31, 2002, in Chillicothe, MO. She was an upcoming junior at Nixa High School. Zoey lettered in high school softball and played short-stop for Nixa High School and the Prospects Elite.

Zoey was saved and baptized at James River Church, where she became passionate in serving the Lord.

She is survived by her parents, Jeff and Tiffany Martin; siblings, Caleb Cagle and wife Shelby and Hallie May Martin; great-grandparents, Leah Rosenstangle and Bob Allen; grandparents, Randy and Sherri Rosenstangle, Dennis and Cheryl Harrmon, Mike Glidewell, Bill and Dennis Hailey, and Alvin and Trina Martin. She is the niece of Arianne Rosenstangle and J.C., Andrew Rosenstangle, Frank and Melissa Martin, Dale and Becky Martin, and Mark Martin; and great niece of Carl and Brenda Sottler, Pat and Kris Allen, Donnie Allen, Mark and Lori Overton, and Randy Allen. Zoey also had 10 cousins and many wonderful friends.

She was preceded in death by great-grandfather, Charles Rosenstangle and great-grandmother, Donna Allen.

Zoey's favorite quote was from the song "Imagine" by John Lennon.

"You may say that I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us and the world will be as one"
