IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Zelma Blanche
Brazeel
December 21, 1927 – July 9, 2019
Zelma Blanche (Banzet) Brazeel, 91, of Springfield, MO, passed away July 9, 2019. She was born December 21, 1927, in Craig County, OK, to Howard and Blanche Banzet. Zelma grew up in Edna, KS and attended Altamont High School.
Zelma worked in Parsons, KS and met her husband William H. Brazeel. They were married July 28, 1950. They shared 56 years of marriage before Bill's death on July 14, 2006.
Zelma, with her husband Bill moved to Omaha, NE to work at Western Electric. They lived happily there for 30 years. She was involved in church, garden clubs and watching the Nebraska Huskers. Her enjoyment came from cooking, sewing, making beautiful pillows and exquisite embroidery. Many friends and God children were her blessings.
Both Zelma and Bill retired and moved to Clinton, Mo. There once again they made wonderful friends and became involved in the church family. She enjoyed watching the many birds on their property, gardening alongside them. Muffie, an adorable little Shiatzu was Zelma's absolute joy of life for several years. The precious pup went everywhere they went and gave much comfort.
Zelma is survived by her nephew, Barry Banzet and his wife Beth of Springfield, MO; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill; five brothers and one sister.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to her beloved church Trinity Lutheran.
