Ernestine was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Barton, daughter Carol Jeanette Barton, and her parents. She is survived by her sons, Larry Barton and Bob Barton, daughter, Patty Wellman and husband Fred, daughter Ginger Barton, and daughter Lisa Jones and husband Eddie. Many grandkids, great grandkids, and great great grandkids, whom she loved very much.

She was always faithful to her God and church and spent many years teaching Sunday School and singing in the church choir and teaching and leading people to Jesus. She graduated from Vernon High School in 1949 and worked very hard in her younger years obtaining her goal of being an LVN and greatly enjoyed caring for her patients. She also cherished her family and was always a blessing to anyone who knew her.
