Yoelonda Tussule Hicks, passed away at the age of 54, on November 19, 2019. She was born January 13, 1965, in Chicago, IL, to the union of Thomas Lee Johnson and Clara Tubbs. She was the fourth child. Her siblings include, Tommie Joe Johnson, Anglish "Ray" Johnson, Darrell Johnson and Hope Smalls.

Yoelonda T. Hicks graduated from Central High School in Springfield, MO, in 1983. She also attended Ozark Technical Community College and Missouri State University in the early 90s.

On August 10, 1992, Yoelonda was united in marriage to Darrell I. Hicks (his birthday). The had 31 beautiful and wonderful years together.

She touched each and every person's heart that she came in contact with. She was loved by all and will be remembered by all.

The family will meet at 12:30 PM, Wednesday, December 4, 2019, at Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services, 2026 W Woodland St, Springfield, MO for a procession to the Missouri Veterans Cemetery starting at 1:15 PM. Graveside services will follow at 2 PM, in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
