Worden Bartholomew Raub Jr., 76, of Springfield, MO., passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2018. He was born September 29, 1941, in Bethlehem, PA., to Worden and Francis Raub. He proudly served in the United States Air Force for eight years. Ward enjoyed being a salesman, manager, and Vice President, and was awarded many honors for his achievements. He loved the Lord, his family, church fellowship, and baseball...especially the Cubbies. Having fought the good fight, Ward is now in heaven and set free from the limitations of his illnesses.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Robert Raub.
Ward is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sandy Raub; children, David Raub and wife Melinda, Scott Raub and wife Karyn, and Brian Raub and wife Audra; grandchildren, Chandler, Courtney, Jacob, Rachael, Rebecca "Lou", Philip, Christy, and Josh and wife Sandi; great-grandchildren, Jaden, Jordyn, and Emilia; and nieces, nephews, his James River Church family and a host of friends that will miss him dearly.
Family will receive friends from 4-5 PM, with a Celebration of Ward's life starting at 5 PM, in the James River Church West Campus, Friday, February 16, 2018. A private burial will be held earlier in the day on Friday in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery with full Military Honors.
