Wilma Ivon Turner, 83, of Springfield, MO, passed away Monday, July 24, 2017. She was born January 3, 1934, in Newport, AR, to Fred and Mabel Waddill.

Wilma enjoyed singing, playing the piano and researching family genealogy. She loved going to church and the fellowship of her church family. But she truly loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fergus Turner; and son, Steve Turner.

Wilma is survived by her daughter, Mona McFall and husband Don of Battlefield, MO; son, Danny Turner of Hot Springs, AR; sister, Carole Allen and husband Finis of Oil Trough, AR; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Key and husband David, Brent Turner, Summer McFall and husband Dan, Anita Lynn Wheetly and husband Scott; Wynter Hurd and husband Ronnie, Jillian Tuner and Lucas Turner; four greatgrandchildren, Stephanie Turner-Jones, Tristan Whitfield, Colin McFall and Jordan McFall; and a host of church friends that will all miss her dearly.

Visitation will be held from 12:30-1:30 PM, Friday, July 28, 2017, in Jackson's Newport Funeral Home, Newport, AR, with graveside services following at 2 PM, in the Walnut Grove Cemetery of Newport.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, July 29, 2017, in the Sunset Church of Christ, Springfield, MO.
