William Robert Hicks, 86, of Springfield, MO, passed away Friday, January 22, 2016. He was born in Elkland, MO, February 28, 1929, to Robert and Harriet Hicks.

He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.

Robert is survived by his wife of 36 years, Carol Hicks; three daughters, Judy, Diane and Sue; two sons, William and Robert; and multiple grandchildren, all of Springfield.

A celebration of Robert's life will be held at 1 pm, Wednesday, January 27, 2016, in the Chapel at Elfindale Mansion. Family will receive friends from 11 am – 1 pm before the service.

The family would like to thank the staff of Woodland Manor Nursing Home and Integrity Hospice services for their excellent care and consideration for Robert and his family during this time.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services.
