William White aka Bill, White Boy, AwPa, Papa, and Dad was born February 23, 1951, in Springfield, Missouri and left this side of Heaven on May 16th, 2025.

Bill grew up in Springfield with his mother and father, Geraldine and Walter White, and sister Linda. He had so many memories of his school years attending Hickory Hills and Glendale and told many stories of the ornery things he would do around town.

Bill graduated school and went to the army where he spent time in Vietnam and served his county with pride. Although many of those stories he kept private, he talked about the loyalty he felt to his country while he served.

He spent most his career working at Consumers and made countless friends. When they closed their doors, he moved on to Stanion Wholesale Electric where he also had friends and business companions all over the Ozarks. Bill made friends wherever he went.

Bill loved his family and friends. He had three children, Billy (and Tina), Karah (and Mike) and Chad (and Amanda) who blessed him with grandchildren, Samantha, Angela, CJ, Makayla, and Anna; Charlee Jo, Cooper and Codie; Will, Lylah and Emilie. And of course, the other half of his team, his wife of 49 years, Karen. They built a life well lived and loved.

If Bill could tell you how he lived and how he would want you who are reading this to live, he would say "know the Lord", because he did, "love your family and always remind them how much you care for them", because he did, "know how to be a friend", because he did, and "make the most of every situation, no matter what life throws at you", because he did.

There will be a celebration of life, please reach out to the family for more information if you'd like to attend. Bill wanted to laugh and join one another in a party, not a funeral, in honor of his life.

A Visitation will be held for friends and family on Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 3:00pm - 5:00pm at Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services 2026 W. Woodland St Springfield, MO 65807.
