IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Willard Dean
King
July 14, 1955 – June 2, 2025
Our beloved father, Willard Dean King, passed away peacefully at his home on June 2, 2025, at the young age of 69. A number he was always proud of and just shy of what he considered "getting old," which he never intended to do.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Irene King, and his sister Ginna Gayle Daum.
He is survived by his children, Cory and Crystal King, Christopher and Whitney Justis, Misty and Joshua Peak, Jessica and Marcus Wooldridge; 13 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; his siblings, JD and Pam King, Jan and Marvin Mitchell; and his longtime partner, Elizabeth "Liza" Lopez, along with many other family members and friends who loved him dearly.
Dean was a die-hard Harley rider and spent any free time he had on his motorcycle. He could be found riding with friends, visiting family, or just out exploring the back roads and reminiscing along the way. Dean never knew a stranger and always had something funny to say.
He had a beautiful soul, was kind, genuine, and was full of warmth. His presence brought comfort and laughter to those around him. Our father leaves behind more than just memories, he leaves a legacy of strength, resilience, and a life lived boldly on his own terms. He now rides the highway of heaven, forever free.
Dad, we look forward to the day we see you again. This isn't goodbye, it's see you later.
Please join us for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, June 14th, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at First Christian Church in Republic, Missouri
