Obituary
Wilbur M. Edwards, 85, of Springfield, Missouri departed this life December 17, 2018, at Cox Medical Center South. He was born January 22, 1933 in Bonneville, MO to John and Amelia (Timm) Edwards.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five siblings; his son, Dean; and granddaughter, Anna.
Will is survived by his wife of 62 years, Alice Edwards; two daughters, Billie Owen and husband Doug, and Mona Long and husband George; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Will served in Korea in the Army attached to the Air Force from 1953 to 1955. He also served in the Army Reserves for eight years.
Visitation will be held at 1:00 pm with the memorial service following at 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the North Nixa Baptist Church where he was a member. Burial will be at a later date in the Patterson Cemetery with full Military Honors.
