Wanda L. Wong of Springfield, MO passed Friday, September 9th, 2022, in her home. She was born March 11th, 1954, to James and Esther Mitchell of Huntsville, AR.

She worked at various health centers to help the elderly.

She enjoyed fishing, camping, reading books, collecting rocks, along with salt and pepper shakers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Esther Mitchell; her first husband, Russell Cates; brothers, Bobby, Jimmy and Chester; and three sisters, Peggy, Carol and Esther.

Wanda is survived by her husband, Tommy Wong; children, Russell Phillips, Cody Threet, and Ashley Phillips; three stepchildren, Jennifer, Michael and Kristopher Wong; 12 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Her kind heart and helping hands will be deeply missed.
