Obituary
It is with sadness that the family of Walter Thomas McAlister announces his passing after a long term illness on Monday, March 18th, 2019 at the age of 63 years.
Walter will be lovingly remembered by his wife Theresa of 25 years and his children Skyler, Nathan (Verna), and Joanie. Walter will also be lovingly remembered by his step-children Lindsey and Tyler, by his 11 grandchildren Ally, India, Evelyn, Taylor, Riley, Ella, Brayden, Xavier, Dominik, Killian, and Deacon, by his sisters Nancy and Vickie (Rick), and by his brothers Johnny (Vickie), Mark (Pam), and Henry (Rhoda).
Walter was preceded in death by his dad, Henry Lee McAlister; his brother, Robert; his mom, Beatrice; and his sister, Rose.
A celebration of Walter's life will be held at 3 PM, Saturday, March 23rd, 2019 at King's Chapel--2434 E Cherry St, Springfield, Missouri, with Pastor Matt Schmidly officiating.
