IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Walter
Logan
January 5, 1934 – February 28, 2024
Walter Lloyd Logan, 90, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2024, joining his parents in their eternal home.
He was born January 5, 1934, in Rolla Missouri to William and Julia Logan. Walter graduated in 1952, following high school, he attended junior college in Pueblo Colorado.
After college he had a career with Roadway Express that spanned from 1958-1994 as a city driver. He cherished his peers that he got the opportunity to work with, and he greatly loved his job. He worked to his fullest ability, and when it came to competition at his workplace, he was always an award winner. After his retirement he dedicated his life fully to his grandkids. In his eyes they could do no wrong.
He passed peacefully of a short illness and fought hard to defy the odds until the end.
He is survived by his former spouse, Frances Delane Logan, with a previous marriage of 56 years; 2 children, daughter, Kimberly Westrich and her spouse, Mark Westrich and son, Bryan Logan and his spouse, Sharon Logan. He leaves behind his grandkids on his daughter's side, Courtney, Megan, and Andrew; as well as great grandkids, Leah, Brynn, Ellie, Campbell, MacKenzie, and Marcus; and on his son's side, grandkids, Blake, Brooke and Britney.
Walter was a loving, caring and hardworking man, who never met a stranger in his life. He loved and adored his family deeply; this is a huge loss for us all. We miss him dearly.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services.
