After the death of his son in January of 1984, Wally became a Father figure to his young grandson Shane. They spent a lot of time together when Shane was growing up. They had lots of fun together and made many happy memories. They enjoyed a very close and special relationship.
Wally met his soul mate and the love of his life, Lois Lowrance in 1997, on the tennis court at Fisherman's Village in Punta Gorda, FL.
