Obituary

In honor of Virginia Lee Neal, age 70, of Beebe, AR, departed this life on Wednesday, November 5, 2015. Virginia was born April 15, 1945, to Gordon P. and Helen V. McFaul in Benton Harbor, MI, and resided in Beebe, AR, for the past 32 years and due to a recent illness moved to Springfield, MO. Virginia was a Veteran who served honorably in the Woman's Army Corps (WAC). She was a military spouse for 23 years and served as a civil-service cashier for DeCA commissary at the LRAFB in Jacksonville, AR. She obtained her Associates Degree in Computer Science at ASU-Beebe. She was a devoted Catholic and a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Little Rock, AR. She was an avid photographer and won several awards for her photos. She was a loving mother to five children and ten grandchildren. Virginia is survived by her children, Helen V. Kay and her husband, Michael D. Kay of Anacoco, LA., Jennifer L. Hodapp and her husband, Robert J. Hodapp of Springfield, MO., a son, Franklin W. Neal, of Rosepine, LA., Angela M. Neal of Anacoco, LA., Michelle L. Tyler and her husband, Rodney R. Tyler of Thibodaux, LA.; and grandchildren: Jeffrey, Travis, Kelen, Marcus, Kara, Darian, Logan, Aleesya, and Fionna. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon P. and Helen V. McFaul; her sister, Theresa "Teri" A. Rompf; a niece, Cheryl A. (Rompf) Lewis; and a granddaughter, Meleny L. Kay. A private memorial to celebrate her life will be held at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, MO, on November 27, 2015.
