Violet Pauline Bodenhamer was born August 15, 1965, in Springfield, OR and passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2022, in Springfield, MO, from Stage 4 Uterine Cancer. Violet was preceded in death by her parents: Waldo E. Kelley and Violet Beatrice Kelley; Sister: Zita Toombs.

Violet was survived by husband, Paul Bodenhamer Sr.; Children; Heather Bodenhamer, Christy Bodenhamer; Grandsons: Yoni, Donovan, Nathanuel & Oliver; Brothers: John, Joe, James, and Jerry along with sister-in-law's: Denise, Jennifer, and Rikki; Brother and sister-in law: Bart and Sonya Bodenhamer and their children: Kyle and Kelsey; sister-in-law: Sandra Bodenhamer; Nephews: Terry, Travis, and Tyler along with many other nieces and nephews. There is no end to the amount of people who thought of Violet as a sister, mom, grandmother, aunt, or friend.

Violet led a full and active life nearly to the end and kept fighting until her last breath. She was kind, loving and caring to everyone she met. She was the best at turning frowns up-side down, never thought twice about putting others before herself and she loved dogs even more than humans.  Violet was also a homemade peanut butter cookie extraordinaire, and this is something she'd never let you forget! Violet enjoyed dedicating time to her grandkids, building forts, storytelling and camping in the backyard. She always said her greatest accomplishment in life was her daughters and grandchildren.

Violet will be extremely missed but never forgotten. Daughters: Christy and Heather Bodenhamer plan to have a celebration of her life and will give further details later.
