Vickie Rae Allen, 75, of Hermitage, MO passed away Thursday, April 25, 2024. She was born June 26, 1948, to Willard and Barbara Marburger in Clinton, Iowa.

Vickie enjoyed crafting, designing and making jewelry, playing bingo and fishing. She was deeply religious and could often be found reading her bible. She liked to spend time sitting on her porch or out by a bonfire drinking coffee and visiting with friends. She adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with them.

Vickie spent the last 10 years designing and selling Paparazzi Jewelry on Facebook. In past years she earned her EMTI certification and worked on an ambulance in Kansas. She was also part owner of Always Amazing Ministries thrift store, and she served as a painter at the McPherson, KS John Deere Factory.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jodi Merrick; her siblings, Steven Marburger, Jackie Marburger, Roger Marburger, Rose Mary Marburger, Beckie Marburger, Debbie Gerlach and Sheri and Bob Chrest.

She is survived by her partner and caretaker of 30 years, David Jackson; her children, Lori Davey of Wheatland, MO, Leah Williams of Springfield, MO and Alan Wise Lindsborg, KS; her siblings, Stepanie Quinlan of Bolivar, MO, Kathy Marburger of Kansas City, MO, Faye and Michael Roe of Iowa, Doug Mangler of Iowa, and Mick and Elly of Barstow, CA; as well as numerous grandkids, great grandkids, nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
