Velma Fay Earp, 62, Springfield, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2014. She was born June 11, 1952, in Livingston County, MO, to Walter and Peggy Newton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Earp; daughter, Marta Deshazier; and two grandchildren, Joshua Allnutt and Jesse Deshazier. Fay is survived by five children, Nancy Moore, Valery Moore, Charles Moore, Michael Earp, and James Walter Earp; grandchildren, Richard Moore, Christina Phillps, Daniel McMahan, Hailey Earp, Emily Earp, Shelby Earp, and Johnny Earp, Jordan Deshazier, and Gage Deshazier; and great-grandsons, Richard Moore Jr., Dallas Hines, and Zane Moore. A memorial visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Thursday, October 30, 2014, at Kearney Villa, Springfield. Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 1, 2014, in the Monroe Cemetery, Ludlow, MO. Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services, Springfield.
