Velma Joyce Casey, 89, of Springfield, MO passed away Sunday, January 4, 2026. She was born December 2, 1936, to William and Clella Robertson of Springfield, MO.

Velma was a licensed LPN, loving mother, grandmother and friend.

She is preceded in death by husband, Jerry Casey; her parents; sister, Mary McCrite; and brother, Anthony Robertson.

She is survived by her three children, George Martin (Sandra), Frances Daves, Yvonne Webb (Clint); 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 5 nieces and nephews.

Per her wishes, there will be no funeral services. A celebration of life will be scheduled in the spring. Velma will be missed dearly.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
