Obituary

Tyler Ray Hodges, 30, of Hudson, FL, passed away March 9, 2021. He was born April 10, 1990, in Springfield, MO, to Steven and Regina Hodges.

Tyler had the most outgoing personality, he was the life of the party, and was the one to make you laugh. Many would describe Tyler as just a little ornery but no matter what he had a heart of gold and would do anything for anybody, especially his family. No words can explain just how much he meant to his family, especially his mother. He was her favorite.

Tyler loved his son, Kaden, with all of his heart and he loved his fiancée Beth also known as "Beth of fresh air". He absolutely loved them both so very much. No love is greater than what they had.

Tyler and Beth loved the Tampa Bay Lightning and the 2021 Super Bowl LV champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tyler loved the great outdoors. Tyler spent the last 8 years as a land surveyor in Florida.

Tyler was preceded in death by his Grandpa E.J. Wake and Grandpa Jim and Grandma Jenna Hodges.

Tyler is survived by his son, Kaden Hodges; his fiancée, Beth Christman; his mother, Regina and husband Tim McGinnis; his father, Steve and wife Rhonda Hodges; brothers, Zachary Hodges and wife Colby, Cainen McGinnis and Levi McGinnis; sister, Amber Hunziker; grandparents, Bob and Sherlie Schmidt; nephews Hunter and Hayse; niece, Hannah Hodges; and countless other family members who Tyler loved very much.

Tyler was loved so much and will always be in our hearts.

Visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00 PM, Friday, March 19, 2021, with services to follow at 3:00 PM, in the Brookline Church of Christ, Brookline, MO.
