Troy James Griffin, 39, Nixa, MO, went to Heaven on Saturday June 7, 2014. He was born on August 11, 1974, in Springfield, MO. Troy's girls meant the world to him. He was a loving husband, son, and brother. Troy proudly served in the U.S. Army for many years. He was preceded in death by his grandmother and grandfather McClanahan; uncles, John and Junior; mother-in-law, Vickie Bogan; and Grandma Dotty. He is survived by wife, Amy Griffin; his girls, Lindsay James and Carly Ann; mom, Debbie and dad, Dennis Price; father-in-law, Ronnie Bogan; sisters, Shelly Leanne Riley and Sheila "Pita" Renee Seal and husband Michael; step-siblings, David Price and Michelle Bordeaux; nephews, Hunter James Riley and Truman Seal; and niece, Georgia Seal. As well as many other uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, family and close friends. Visitation will be from 7-9 PM, Thursday, June 12, 2014, in the Southland Christian Church, 1630 W Republic Road, Springfield. Graveside Services will be at 11 AM, Friday, June 13, 2014, in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery with full Military Honors. Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services. In lieu of flowers, donations for the family are appreciated and can be made to any Great Southern Bank in care of Amy Griffin.
