Mark Anthony Gonzalez, known to his loved ones as Tony or Guero, passed away on December 23, 2023, at the age of 46 in Springfield, Missouri. He was born on June 10, 1977, in Elkhart, Indiana to Daniel and Cheryl Gonzalez.

Tony was a spontaneous and adventurous individual. He had a stubborn streak but used his comedic talents to lighten the mood. He had a knack for storytelling and was known for his sarcastic and sometimes vulgar sense of humor. Tony's lively personality made him hard to keep track of, as he was always on the move, seeking the next adventure.

He is survived by his father, Daniel (Debbie) Gonzalez, and his brothers Don and James Gonzalez. Tony was a beloved uncle to his nieces Valeri (Lavon) Miller, Kylie Wakley, Charlee Gonzalez, Riley Gonzalez, nephews Aden and Anthony Gonzalez and great-nephew Kashton Miller, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins, near and far. He was preceded in death by his mother, Cheryl Gonzalez.

In honor of Tony's memory, a private memorial service will be held to celebrate his life. The details of the ceremony will remain within the close circle of family and friends.
