Tommy Alan Green, 62, of Republic Missouri went to be with the Lord on August 28, 2023, after a long illness.  He was born to Kenneth Green and Nell Green in Greene County.

Tom grew up in the Springfield/Battlefield/Republic area.  His childhood home was centered around church, family and friends.  He shared many adventures, misadventures and chores with his brothers and sisters.

He graduated from Republic High School in 1979.

He met his wife, Jane in 1987 and they married September 1, 1989.  They were partners in life sharing many joyful times, some calamities and unexpected mercies and miracles.  Their greatest miracle being their daughter, Audra.

Tom found great satisfaction in his occupation in industrial maintenance, first at Springfield Remanufacturing Company then with 3M.

One of his favorite pastimes was that of an amateur radio operator (Ham) obtaining the level of Extra Class.  He spent many happy hours talking with friends locally, nationally, and worldwide.

Tom was an outstanding and good–hearted man.  He was interesting to know and kept us laughing with his quick wit.   He loved his family and friends dearly.  He knew he was an imperfect man and praised the Lord for saving him.

He is preceded in death by his father Kenneth Green. a brother John Green and sister-in-law Paula Green.

He is survived by his wife Jane, his daughter Audra. Also, by his mother Nell Green and his brothers and sisters: Randy Green (Debbie), Steve Green (Paula), Robert Green (Jackie), Debra Rooney (Dan), Linda Ballard (Dan) and Barbara Green (John Green), and Tony Gott (Stephanie) who was like a brother and many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, Missouri.
