Timothy Smelcer's Obituary
Timothy Lee Smelcer, 52, of Stockton, MO, passed away August 13, 2020. He was born May 26, 1968, in Peoria, IL, to Theron and Margaret Smelcer.
Tim had a heart of gold and was very generous. He was his mother's caregiver for over 20 years. Tim enjoyed being outside as he was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed playing video games and spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Alyce and Leon Kline, Theron Smelcer, and Walter and Ruth Reeves; and several aunts and uncles.
Tim is survived by his sisters, Amy Schenk and husband Dave and Rebecca Jakubczak and husband Brian; nieces and nephews, Louis Osborne, Adam Schenk, Paul Schenk, Amanda Shafer, and Mary Ashkari; and many great nieces and nephews.
Services will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services, Springfield, MO.
