Timothy Ralph Geithman, 69, of Springfield, MO, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2016. He was born February 8, 1947, in Ft. Sheridan, IL, to Ralph and Dorothy Geithman.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Carol Geithman; his three children, Timothy Geithman, Kimberly Hermann and Jamieson Geithman; grandchildren, Kyle Geithman, Paige Durham, Caitlyn Hermann, Megan Hermann, Morgan Geithman, Alyssa Geithman, Jackson Geithman and Ella Geithman; great-grandchild, Presley Durham; brother, Rick Geithman; and sister, Kay Geithman.

Timothy served his country for 10 years with passion and pride as a Naval Submariner. He first served on the USS Ethan Allen. Timothy was a plank owner of USS Spadefish. Timothy loved his country and his family and always took pride in both.

Timothy held a distinguished career as a teacher for the naval academy as well as an HVAC certified professional. He ended his working days as an engineer for the Siemens Corporation.

Services will be held on Tuesday, August, 16, at 10 am, in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery with full military honors.
