Obituary

Timothy "Tim" Allen Day, 54, of Springfield, Missouri passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2025. He was born April 12, 1971, to Thomas and Linda Day in Springfield, Illinois. He was the middle child who said what he thought even if it made him unpopular.

He lived in Springfield, Illinois until after Lanphier High School graduation then he moved to Florida. Most of his life as an adult was spent in the Pinellas County area of Florida. He loved to fish, hang out with friends, and entertain. He was an avid WWE wrestling fan. He moved to Springfield, Missouri for a fresh start with his girlfriend in his late 40s where his health declined and he eventually passed in his sleep.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Junior Day; his grandmothers, Betty Day and Dorothy Foster; his grandfather, Square Thomas Day; and two uncles, Dennis Day and James Lenhart.

Tim is survived by his mother, Linda Orr (Day)of Largo, Florida and her husband Charles Orr; his big brother, Thomas Day of Virden, Illinois; his nephew, Andrew Day; his niece, Hayley Talbert; his great nieces, Emma and Rebecca Talbert of Girard, Illinois; his little sister, Angela Tishler (Day) of Clearwater, Florida; his nephew, Seth Tishler of Detroit, Michigan; his great niece, Ella Rae Clough of Juneau, Wisconsin; his nieces, Destiny and Rayne Harvey of Clearwater, Florida. He is survived by his aunt, Terry and uncle, Ed Morris of Springfield, Illinois; his aunt Carol Lenhart and aunt Carol Buchanan (Day); several cousins; and his girlfriend, Terri Stockyl and her daughters, Cynthia and Carolyn also of Springfield, Missouri.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services.
