IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Tienne Lanette
Hollis
December 12, 1946 – December 3, 2018
Tienne "Ti" Lanette Hollis, of Ash Grove, went to be with the Lord, December 3, 2018 after a short illness while surrounded by her family. She was 71 years old.
Ti is survived by her four children, Chris of Ash Grove, MO, Cindy and Dianne both of Walnut Grove, MO, Matthew of Clever, MO; two granddaughters, Taylor and Breanna; daughter-in-law, Twila; son-in-law, Kirk; as well as a sister and brother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lowell and Bonnie Ware of Chesapeake, MO.
Ti had a profound love for her children. She selflessly supported them in their many endeavors, shepherding them to countless 4-H and FFA activities. Many trailer miles were accumulated traveling to numerous fairs, horse shows, rodeos and ball games.
While raising her children, Ti pursued a career in nursing, where she served her community in several capacities. Later, her commitment to service was further illustrated by combining her love of dogs with volunteering. Ti's passion for pet therapy was demonstrated with her beloved Labrador, Cinder, by her side. Together, they brought joy to those in need at hospitals, schools and nursing homes.
Ti loved to sew and always had a garment or project in the making on her kitchen table. She also loved to read. Her bible and an Agatha Christie book were typically not far from reach. Ti loved the Lord, her church and living a simple life, illustrated in her favorite bible verse, Hebrews 13:5. She was deeply loved by her children and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held from 10-11 AM, with funeral services at 11 AM, Friday, December 7, 2018 in the Brookline Baptist Church, 2044 S State Hwy MM, Springfield, with burial to follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Willard.
