Theresa Ann (Gale) Peterson, 63, of Everton, passed away at Cox South Hospital on January 5, 2017, after a short illness. Theresa was born December 9, 1953, in Denver, Colorado, to Laurene (Talledge) and Dudley Kenneth Gale. She grew up in Aurora, Colorado.

She moved to Missouri in 1979 and to Springfield in 1994.  She worked for Yellow Cab for several years and enjoyed driving until she became disabled with back problems.

Theresa is survived by her husband, Ron Gardner; son, Terry Gale; sister, Juliane Gale Bertagne (Allen); nephews, Chris and Jonathan Bertagne; grand-daughters, Ashleah Ann Pentz, Alexis Gale and Breana Vera; and step-children, Paul (Jennie) Gardner, Travis (Sarah) Hurd, Steve (Tonya) Turner, Mary Potter and Joyce Pastelin.

Preceded in death by her mother, Laurene Talledge Gale; father, Dudley Kenneth Gale; stepmother, Geraldine Gale and many other relatives.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM, January 21, 2017 in the Mansion at Elfindale Chapel, Springfield. Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services
