Tammy Lorraine (Knight) Crawford, 58, of Verona Missouri, formally of Boone Iowa, passed away September 29th, 2020. She was born May, 29th, 1962 in Iowa City Iowa.

Tammy grew up in Ogden Iowa. She graduated from Ogden Highschool, class of 1981. She was employed by the Iowa D.O.T, and she later pursued a career in the healthcare industry. Tammy lived and raised her children in the Boone Iowa area until she moved to southern Missouri in 2017. Tammy loved nothing more than spending time with her family and friends as well as spoiling her grandchildren. She was a caretaker at heart and would care for anyone in need. She had a passion for animals and would attempt to save any she could. She was an avid outdoors lover and enjoyed fishing and camping. Her passion for cooking, country music and laughter were evident at every family gathering. She recently enjoyed traveling in a big rig and seeing all of the United States with her other half Rodney. They shared a common interest in listening to audiobooks and watching movies while they were on their adventures.

She was preceded in death by her biological mother, Shirley Summers; foster parents, John and Marge Leaf; infant son, Benjamin; Stepson, Zechariah Crawford; 2 aunts, Donna Miller and Diana Clarke; Great Aunt, Lillian Allison.

She is survived by her daughter, Brittany (Michael) Whiton; 5 grandchildren, Caleb, Allison, Trenten, Conner and Landon; Son, Clinton (Chelsea) Reece; Stepson, Jeremiah Crawford; Sister, Rebecca Wamsley; Brothers, Dean McLeod and Alan McLeod; Companion, Rodney Walker; Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A celebration of life has been planned for 11am on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Cornerstone Church, 111 6th St. Boone Iowa, 50036.

Memorials and flowers may be sent to the church on behalf of the family or donations may be made in Tammy's name to Animal Rescue League of Iowa.
