Tad Mackenzie Mitchell was born on March 2, 1954, in Clinton, IA and passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, in Springfield, MO.

Tad was preceded in death by his parents, David W. Mitchell and Jane Mitchell, and his brothers, David J. Mitchell and Ned Mitchell.

Tad led a full and busy life with 3 children: TJ (Tad J. Mitchell) wife Shana, Seth Mitchell wife Lindsey, and Amber Daniels. Tad has 12 grandkids and 1 great-grandchild. Tad also leaves 2 brothers and 1 sister, Chuck Mitchell, Jon Mitchell, and Louanne Meeks, along with many nieces and nephews.

Tad enjoyed time with his family, at his home in Brookline, MO and family reunions in Fulton, IL. Tad's smile touched everyone he met, and his love will continue to live on through his family and his memories. Tad will be greatly missed by so many that called him, Father, Family and Friend.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Springfield, MO and will be announced later.
