Susan S. Bryant 65, of Nixa Missouri went home to be with the our Lord and Savior on September 9, 2021, having her husband by her side.
Susan was born December 15, 1955, in Hampton, Virginia to Kazuto and Charlette Tomayasu. She was preceded in death by her grandparents on both sides of her family as well, her Father in Law, Melvin Bryant. She is survived by her husband Max Bryant of Nixa, MO, Kazuto and Charlette Tomayasu, father and mother, brothers Gary and Ada Tomayasu, Colorado, Randy and Lynn Tomayasu and their children, Ranson and Calib, Hawaii, sister Diane (Mitsie) and her husband Ed Ring and their children, Amanda, Christopher and, Katherin-Rose, Mississippi. daughters, Tinamarie and her husband Herman Destefans and their children, Drew and Carter, California, Theresa and her husband Kevin Ash and their children, Aaron, Jacob and, Nicklas, California. Great grandchildren, Aurora, Genesis, Nicklas Bryant Jr Jones, Marilyn Rose and, Vanessa, California. Step daughter,Stacie Lynn Bryant, step granddaughter, Meghan Bryant, California, and numerous family members on her husbands side of the family. And, all those we call extended family, you all know who you are.
Susan entered matrimony with Max Bryant October 28, 1994 in Vacaville California, our lives crossed paths while we both were working the department of Corrections, California.
She attended and graduated Johnson H.S., Japan in 1973, furthering her education in criminal justice stateside.
Her hobbies were many; camping, playing the clarinet, gardening, crocheting, seamstress and quilter, lastly, an avid motorcyclist enthusiast. She could pretty much do anything she put her hands to.
Susan, worked clerical and later moved to correctional officer for California department of Corrections, from there medical transcriptionist. School bus driver Fernley NV, Republic, MO, substitute teacher, Nixa MO teaching grades 1-6 and S.P.E.D. (special needs students) she truly loved to teach. Susan was a member with the Christian Motorcyclist Association with her husband for 16 years, 8 of those years with Ozark Christian Riders, Springfield, MO. She held the office of chapter secretary for 3 years, and was involved in many aspects of the chapters purpose and direction.
Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am. on September 25, 2021 at Faith Baptist Church, 2920 W. Nichols St. Springfield, MO 65803.
