Sue Ellen Kessler (Shipman) passed away August 7, 2025. She was 79 years old. She was born January 6, 1946, to John and Juanita Shipman.

Sue attended and graduated from the Fair Grove School system. She married Russell Kessler August 15, 1963. They were just eight days shy of being married for 62 years. Together they had five children, Terry, Toby (Teresa), Troy, Teddy, and Tonya (Andy). She has five grandkids, Colten, Katilyn, Gavin, Ethan and Harper and a step grandson, Tristin. She also has two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert, Ricky, Rosey and Roberta; and several nieces and nephews.

Sue worked delivering newspapers. She liked to go gambling and watching her soap operas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Juanita Shipman; her sister, June Brigance; her sons, Toby and Troy; and her daughter, Tonya.

Sue is survived by her husband, Russell Kessler of the home; two sons, Terry and Teddy; and all of her grandkids all of Brighton.

Her wish was to be cremated with no funeral services.
