Steven Gene Scott, 66, of Aurora, MO passed away Saturday, December 6, 2025. He was born April 2, 1959, to Darrel and Wilma Scott.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Stanley Scott; and daughter, Robin Scott.

He is survived by his children, Brittany, Darrin, Travis and Cody; 14 grandchildren; his sisters, Paula Fly, Patsy Gilmore, Lisa McCaslin, Karen Conrad, and Susan Sutton; many nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

Steven grew up in Hurley and Crane. From a very early age he enjoyed being outside. Whether he was deer hunting, fishing or working in his garden, if the weather was nice, you could usually find him outside. He was a mechanic by trade and took care of all of the family's cars. He was great at small engine repair. Steven loved being a father almost as much as he loved being a grandpa. He was very proud of his family.

Steven's family is hosting a Visitation Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 12:00 - 2:00 at Wright's Chapel in Hurley, MO.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
