Steven Wayne Purvis, 50, of Merriam Woods, MO, passed away Monday, February 20, 2017. He was born March 29, 1966, in St. Louis, MO, to Hank and Virginia. Steven worked with his brother in the concrete business. He loved fishing and listening to music.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Steven is survived by his wife, Renia Purvis; children, Steven Purvis, Rhiannon Green, Cheryl Kristek and husband Sheldon, Jimmy Pedigo and wife Christina, Kendra Harris and husband Shane, and Tessie Esry; grandchildren, Dillion, Christopher, AnnaBelle, Timothy, Valentina, Alexus, Austin, Micah, Brylie, Isaac, Elijah, Makayla, Dominick, Brooklyn, and Tatum; great-grandson, Wyatt; siblings, Jeff Pruvis, Ryan Purvis, AJ Provence and Katie Pyatt; niece, Jaymn; nephew; Jake; and a host of family and friends that will miss his greatly.

A celebration of Steven's life will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, February 25 2017, in the Bridge of Faith Community Church, 296 Lake St, Rockaway Beach, MO, under the direction of Pastor Jonathan McGuire and music by Trace Frizzell.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Bridge of Faith Community Church.
