IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Steven St.
James
January 1, 1944 – May 20, 2016
Steven left us Friday Morning, May 20, 2016. His life was full from the time he joined the Air Force at 17 up until his 35 year retirement from Associated Electric Coop. Between which he finished college with multiple degrees and served as Vice Principal and 3 rd Grade Teacher in the Long Beach School District. He also had two patents on items he invented while in the restaurant business in California. He was active in the community as well and worked with CASA, C.A.R.E (no kill shelter), and the Humane Society.
His home in Republic was one of his true loves. This sanctuary on the farm brought him several amazing friendships and a place to share with the animals he rescued and loved.
Steven's family and friends were very special to him. He is survived by his son Landon, step daughter Morgan, 3 beautiful granddaughters, and people that were far more than friends; The Nystrom Famiy, Wake Family, Kay, Roger, Deborah, and a long time friend Jeff Minor.
Steven, we will miss you and your amazing wit that stayed with you through it all. Plus all of those silly gifts that you continually bought online.
Burial will be private, with any donations to please go to C.A.R.E www.carerescue.org in honor of his love for animals. Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services.
