Steven Lee Carver, 64, of Springfield, MO passed away Saturday, June 7, 2025. He was born December 13, 1960, to Eugene and Barbara Carver in Mount Clemens, MI.

Steve worked at Airgas for 24 years. In his free time, he enjoyed the outdoors. He loved riding his motorcycle, hunting and fishing. He especially liked to go out to Stockton Lake with his fishing buddy, Jason. Being on the water with a fishing pole in his hand was his church.

Steve had the gift of gab and a heart of gold and everyone that knew him knew it. He didn't know a stranger and he enjoyed talking with his neighbors every chance he got.

He was preceded in death by his dad; one sister, Sandra Carver; and his grandmother, Claire Hicks.

Steve is survived by his wife of 28 years, Kristi Carver; his mom, Barbara Carver; two sisters, Laurie Smallwood and Carole (Chuck) Showers; many nieces, nephews, and friends; and his best friend, Jason Lambeth.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
