Obituary
Sterling Jay Hammons, 69, of Springfield, MO, passed away August 9, 2018. He was born February 17, 1949, in Los Angeles, CA, to Arnold and Marcella Hammons.
He is survived by three children; oldest son, Garrett Hammons; daughter, Margret Hammons; and youngest son, Sterling Hammons Jr; grandkids, Gezzery Hammons, Lance Hammons, Gabreanna Hammons, Kayla Hammons, Rebecca Hammons, and Hailey Hammons; great-grandchild; Jordyn Hammons; and daughter-in-law, Priscilla Hammons.
The funeral will be held at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in September of 2020. Date to be announced.
