Starr Dawn Barnes, 48, of Nevada, MO passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023. She was born October 9, 1975, to Raymond and Edna Wilson in Ft. Scott, KS.

She worked at Heartland Behavioral Health in Nevada, Mo. as a dietary technician. She enjoyed crocheting, crafting and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Raymond and Joy Wilson and Eddie Martinez and Robert Smith; her uncle, Harvey Wilson; and a nephew, Lane Lorimor.

She is survived by her mother, Edna Martinez-Ogle; father, Raymond (Christine) Wilson; husband, Jimmy Barnes; brothers, Lloyd Jameson and Garrett (Tracy) Swope; sons, Jacob (Kala) Wilson and Trenton (Crystal) Barker; grandmother, Dolores Smith; grandchildren, Kyson, Zayden, Venus, Michael, Aria Wilson, Zara and Silas Barker; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be planned at a future time.
