Skyler Ashton Jones, 35, a lifelong resident of Springfield, MO passed away Thursday, June 25, 2026. He was born January 15, 1991, to Sandra Jones.

Skyler was a creative person with a big imagination. He loved to draw and could spend hours bringing his ideas to life on paper. He enjoyed expressing himself through his art and was always thinking of new ideas.  He also loved playing video games, but his biggest dream was to create one of his own. He spent a lot of time working on a story for a video game, creating characters and adventures that reflected his imagination and passion.

He is survived by his mother, Sandra Jones; grandmother, Carolyn Jones; uncles, Terry Jones and Tony Jones; nephew, Ranger Jones; and niece, Victoria Jones.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
