Sherry Lynne Dreher was born March 16, 1951, and left us May 31, 2015. Sherry was the daughter of Patricia and Bill Knaus. She was born in Ellsworth, KS, and graduated from Russell Kansas High School in 1969. She married in 1970 and in August 1971 gave birth to her daughter, Marcie Lynne. In 1975, Sherry and her daughter moved to Wichita, KS, where she owned and operated her own small business and raised her daughter as a great single mom. The early 80 s brought a move to Arizona that sparked her love for the desert and she began working in the health insurance industry. A career that lasted for over 35 years. In 1999, her pride and joy graced this earth with the arrival of her granddaughter, Lauren Lynne. And oh what a grandmother she was! Sherry loved Blues music, crime shows, and being outdoors, especially the Arizona desert where her remains will be released this summer by her family. She is survived by her daughter, Marcie; granddaughter, Lauren; son-in-law, Everett Perrotte; best friend, Carol Hoel; and will be missed by many friends.
