Sheri Renee Fainter, 55, of Springfield, MO passed peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. She was born July 13, 1969, to Carl and Gladys Tapscott in Brookfield, MO.

Sheri always lit up the room, making jokes, and making everyone feel loved and welcome. She enjoyed fishing, floating down the river with her life partner, Robert, walking her dogs, Honey and Zoie, and spending quality time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Duane Tapscott; one sister, Darlene Tapscott; and niece, Mariah Windsor.

Sheri is survived by her life partner, Robert Wilson of the home; daughter, Anna Sousley and husband Joe Sousley of Higginsville, MO; daughter, Crystal Fainter and partner Jeremy Yarbrough of Dawn, MO; son, Ryan Stewart of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren, Mackenzie Sousley of Odessa, MO, Colton Sousley of Warrensburg, MO, Brooklyn Eaves of Higginsville, MO, Savannah Bowerman of Higginsville, MO, Emma Lark of Brookfield, MO, Alexander Lark of Brookfield, MO, Greyson Stewart of Springfield, MO, and Braxton Yarbrough of Dawn, MO; great grandchildren, Damari, Daven and Delaney Newton of Odessa, MO; sisters, Lorie Windsor and husband Richard of Brookfield, MO and Billie Jean Walker and partner George of Brookfield, MO; one brother, Charles Tapscott of Jefferson City, MO; and several nieces and nephews.
