Everett Shawnta Carter III, 40, of Springfield Missouri was called home October 23, 2021.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Lori Carte; uncle, Cecil Johnson; grandmother, Betty Johnson; grandfather, Bobby Johnson; and grandparents, Everett and Geraldine Carter.

He is survived by his children, Chikaya, Taresha and Taylionna; grandkids, Wylder and two unborn; father, Everett Clifton Carter II; his brother, Carlos Tureaud; sisters, Teungela and Teangela Baker and Ashley and Brittany Carter; a special person he knew as Dad, Carlos Tureaud; Ella (memaw) Tureaud; and Aunts, Kathryn (Ray) Johnson, Brenda (Anthony) Brown, Barbara Ann (Michael), Sue (Bobby), & Joel (Deborah) Johnson; and a host family & friends that love him dearly .

Shawnta loved listening to music, smoking his black and milds', time with his children, family, and most of all a good meal (which consisted of eating things he should not). He was loving, kind and a great friend to many. He will be missed and never forgotten. We love you Shawn.
