Shawn Eric Kinder, 41, of Springfield, MO, formerly of Mountain Grove, MO, passed away Monday, April 10, 2017. He was born February 7, 1976, in San Diego, CA, son of Martha Linton-Combs.

He attended Vatterott College in Springfield for computer drafting. He loved playing video games, fishing and assembling model trucks.

Shawn was preceded in death by his step-father, Andy Linton; grandparents, Bobby Lee and Joyce Henry; and great-grandmother, Geneva Koendarfer.

Shawn is survived by his son, Austin Kinder of Cabool; mother, Martha Linton-Combs of Ozark, MO; siblings, Nikki Hatton of Houston, MO, Krystal Mackey of Rogersville, MO, Tina Kembel of Mountain Grove, MO, and Richie Linton of Rogersville, MO; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends that will miss him dearly.

A celebration of Shawn's life will be held from 12-3 PM, on Saturday, June 3, 2017, in the Event Center of Mountain Grove, MO.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Diabetes Association in Shawn's memory.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services.
