Sharon Ann Hawn Weidmann, age 74, of Springfield, MO, died peacefully on October 24th after a long illness. She retired after a long career in the medical field working at both Mercy and Cox Medical Centers in Springfield, Missouri. Caring for people was her passion in life.
Sharon was a cherished friend to many, and a source of strength and love to her family. She was born in Berlin, New Jersey on July 15, 1943 to the late Valentine and Dorothy (Carroll) Hackett.
She is survived by her siblings Kathleen (Kitty), Marie, Butch, Norman (Betty) and Thomas; her children, Mark Peterson (Olivia), Scott Peterson (Sherry), Tommy Hawn (Lita), and Shelley Grant (Steve); and last but certainly not least, her beloved grandchildren, Justin (Emily), Blair (Mike), Samantha, Asia, Alex, Kate and Abby.
Family will be gathering at a later date in New Jersey for a celebration of her life.

break no flowers or curse the heavens above.
Do not speak in a Sunday voice,
but be the usual selves that I love.
Cry if you must, parting is hell,
but life goes on so sing as well.
