Sharon Lea Royalty, 73, of Strafford, Missouri, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2016. Memorial Service will be from 10:00-12:00, Saturday, March 19th at Chapel Hill – Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas. A celebration of Sharon's Life will be held after the memorial.

Sharon was born September 29, 1942 in Kansas City, Kansas, to Tip and Goldie Manis. She grew up in Kansas City and graduated from Rosedale High School, Class of 1960.

Sharon's appetite for life and dedication to her entire family was unquestionable and evident in every aspect of her life – Sharon lived for her family. Her spirit and good humor was evident in everything she did.

Sharon worked at Butternut Bread as a Machine Operator and Union Stewart. Additionally, her care and concern for others led her to finish her working career at The Manor at Elfindale as the Activity Director. In her free time, Sharon always enjoyed dancing, hunting the local Yard Sales, and catching a good show in Branson.
Sharon's zest for life and love for family allowed her to travel a lot in the United States and Internationally to Germany, Spain, and South Korea. South Korea will never be the same after she taught the art of the Jitter-Bug and her un-bashful Karaoke singing only as Sharon Lea could do!

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Tip and Goldie and her first love Donald Hanes.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Patrick Royalty; her children, Terri and Gary Hanes, and Step-Son David Royalty; 3 loving sisters; 6 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren; and many dear relatives and friends that were all part of her family.
