Sharon Marie Jasper (Lusk) 1957-2023
Sharon was born February 19, 1957, in Greene County to Harold and Alma Lusk. Sharon grew up and spent most of her adult life in Buffalo, MO before later relocating to Greenfield, MO. Sharon departed from us on September 14th, 2023, at 1:19 pm with her daughter and granddaughter at her side.
In 1972 Sharon was working as a waitress at the local truck stop when she met Cleo Jasper, the father of her two children. Sharon and Cleo would later be married in 1972, at a church in Lexington, Missouri. In 1973, their daughter Eula Marie was born, and in 1976 their son, Arley Allen. Sharon and Cleo spent 27 years married. As an adult, Sharon worked as a Certified Medication Technician in a long-term care facility. Sharon also loved music, her family says she could hear a song once and remember every word.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents Harold and Alma Lusk, her siblings Lena Fay Tiller, Donna Lafferty, Shirley Miller, Vickie Yarberry, Larry Tindle, Jackie Tindle, John Tindle, and her son Arley Jasper.
Sharon or Nanny as her grandchildren called her is survived by her daughter Eula Richardson (spouse Jerry Ledford), her grandchildren Vincent Jasper, Tyler Brown (wife Kristen Brown), Lauren Brown (fiancé Josef Luthy), Lillian Jasper, Gavin Stidham, Michael Jasper, Jaxson Jasper, and her great-grandchildren Taytum and Brody Brown.
A graveside service will be held for Sharon October 29th, 2023 at 2:00pm at Union Home Cemetery (formally known as Twin Churches Cemetery).
