Sharon Adel Duncan, 63, Rogersville, MO passed away on Monday, September 16 at 11:00 am at Cox South, Springfield, MO. She was born May 9, 1956 in Houston, TX, the daughter of Carl (Pat) and Ethel (Peaches) Gonzales.

Sharon was a fun-loving woman who always found the humor in life. She took joy in playing games and participated in softball, golf, billiards, cards, and trips to the casino with her best friend Carole. She spent much of her free time at the homes of her children and grandchildren where she always brought laughter. She had a love for animals – especially cats. Among her hobbies were oil painting, poetry, and listening to the music of Elvis Presley.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Ethel Gonzales.

She is survived by her spouse, Shelby Duncan; brothers, Ronny, Danny, Larry, and Terry Gonzales, TX; sister, Pattye Elsner, TX; daughter Tracie Collins and husband Louie, Republic, MO; daughter, Heather Tabor and husband Chris, Springfield, MO; son, Jason Stanley, Springfield, MO; and grandchildren, Brayden, Lexi, Raylee, and Lauren; and many other family and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, September 23, 2019 at Second Baptist Church, 3111 E Battlefield Rd, Springfield, MO 65804. The family has asked that donations be made to an animal shelter or charity of your choice in lieu of flowers.
