Shala Dawn Groff, 25, of Springfield Missouri passed away April 20, 2016, at Mercy Hospital. She was born on January 17, 1991, the daughter of Bobby Groff
and Rebecca Ledig.
Shala attended Glendale high school and later started attending Ozark's Technical Community college in Springfield, MO. She was currently employed at Flo Eatery and Wine Bar. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, live music, and spending time with her children, family, and friends. She had a larger than life view of the world and therefore she loved social gatherings. She also loved being at the river and anything to do with nature.
She is survived by her three children, Bradley Hiteshew, Lili Hiteshew, and Ezra Robirts; her father, Bobby Groff and his wife Katina Groff; her mother Rebecca Ledig-Archer and her husband Daniel Archer; three brothers, Hunter Ledig, Hunter Groff, and N'ren Groff; two sisters, Kristina Ferrell and Kazza Groff; grandparents, Janet and Ralph Groff, Trudy Dugger and Mary Kielty; and countless aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held from 1-3 PM, Tuesday, April 26, 2016, with funeral services following at 3 PM, in the Chapel at Elfindale Mansion, 1701 S Fort Ave, Springfield, MO. Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services.
