Sara Alissa (Morton) Blevins of Springfield, Missouri, passed away November 20, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield. Sara was born December 30, 1979 to Daniel and Kathy in Kansas City, Missouri.

Sara attended Osceola Public Schools beginning in third grade and graduated from high school in 1998. She studied Fashion and Design at Southwest Missouri State University and enjoyed working on many types of art and graphic design projects. Sara was an avid music and photography enthusiast and shared her passion with many friends in the Kansas City and Springfield area over the years.

After moving back to Springfield, Sara married Josh Stever on November 11, 2011. To this union, a daughter, Wren Illiana, was born Oct. 4, 2012. Sara and Wren enjoyed many great adventures together, often exploring the outdoors and playing in area parks. Sara volunteered at the Butterfly House located in Nathaniel Green Park, Springfield, Missouri and instilled a love and curiosity for the natural world in her daughter.

Sara is preceded in death by her father Daniel, maternal grandfather Ed Liley, paternal grandfather and uncle, step-grandparents John and Helen Colby.

She is survived by her husband, Josh Stever of the home, her daughter Wren; her mother and step-father, Kathy and Curtis Colby; her brothers Cody Colby and wife, Sarah; Nick Colby and wife, Kara; sisters Katy Colby and Brittany Colby, niece Grace, nephews Easton, Nolan, and Cameron Colby; her maternal grandmother Nancy Smart; her paternal grandmother Carol Eskridge; in-laws Bruce and Leonora Herschel, Maddie and Duncan; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends.
