Sandra Jean Stamm, 84, of Springfield, MO passed away Monday, September 8, 2025. She was born June 6, 1941, to Melvin and Eva Lewis in Fort Morgan, CO.

Sandy Stamm the beloved matriarch of the Stamm Family, saved her last breath for her family to be able to say their goodbyes. Her greatest joy was her large, spread-out family.

A mother of four, a grandmother of sixteen, a great-grandmother of twenty-nine, and a great-great-grandmother of five. Sandy was unlike other family matriarchs. Sandy traveled up and down the highways of the US to see her children on their birthdays, and her grandchildren on holidays.

Sandy prayed for each family member, by name, every night. So that she could memorize their names. Her pride was that she knew, by heart, all the names of everyone in her family.

Sandy was always sending "birthday"," anniversary", and " just thinking about you", cards to all in her family. She loved to send these, beautiful handwritten cards, through the US Mail.

Sandy also delighted in making Quilts, embroidering Pillowcases, and the challenge of a jigsaw puzzle.

Sandy is survived by her children Alan, Vincent, Chiree, and Cindy, and their growing families.

A private family service will be held on June 6, 2026, at Olinger's in Northglenn Colorado, followed by a gathering at a location to be determined. The family will be sharing Sandy's family stories, ensuring that her legacy of love and togetherness continues for generations to come.
